Lapse in Memory

Ok, I know the old memory cells aren't what they used to be, but I completely forgot I even had this blog! My first blog ever, how could I forget? Scary stuff...

I left off with our Post Falls home being listed for sale. It was on the third day, and had a couple of showings already. Well, on the 5th day, we had an offer! A full price offer no less! WoooHoooo!



Fast forward 4 years. We've listed this house for sale, and on the 5th day of being active on MLS, we had an offer! Sold! Five seems to be our lucky number. I'm still dizzy from things moving so fast... how'd that happen? We listed our 5 acres in Blanchard for sale, and not 15 minutes after putting up the "for sale by owner' sign, we had a phone call from a neighbor wanting to buy it! 10 days later we had agreed upon a price and it was in escrow. A couple of weeks later we put the lake house on the market- that's the one that just sold in 5 days. Escrow for the house closes 8/15, escrow on the property closes 9/1. We'll be heading East- probably moving to Virginia or West Virginia, they both sound good to us. We'll make up our minds when we get out there and see what's available in our price range. Til then, I am internet shopping for houses... it's never failed me yet. ; )
