So here I am on my very first posting on my very first blog. Be gentle with me!

Going to ride the "Hiawatha Trail" today- a 14 mile bike ride (mostly downhill, fortunately for me!) it rides along an old railway and has lots of trestle bridges and tunnels, one of which is over a mile long. It should be a beautiful ride, if I survive. (Pant, pant!)

I went to an "information only" Homeowner's Association meeting last night. I never saw so many mean, hypocritical, bull-headed self-centered people in all my life. My next door neighbors Tony and Sherry being the worst of all. UGH! It's frustrating. Why can't they just let people be adults and run their households the way they see fit? As long as you're not jacking cars up on blocks in the driveway and letting the yard turn to weed... I don't see a big problem. They do. I think Sherry is actually the one who came up with the idea to vote on whether we should limit holiday decorations to 30 days before and 30 days after "said holiday". It didn't pass, of course. I think grown adults should be able to decide how long they want their decorations up... sheesh!
